CONVERSION CLASSES
Seeing people convert to Torah-True Judaism in Messiah is at the very heart of Rabbi Mordecai Griffin's Vision
Yesod HaBrit (“The Foundation of the Covenant”) is the foundational six-week course for those seeking to understand Judaism as a lived covenant rather than a set of abstract beliefs. This course introduces the Jewish people as a covenantal family, the centrality of Torah as divine instruction, the unique role of the Land of Israel in the covenant, and the Jewish understanding of God as revealed through Scripture and tradition. Students will be introduced to the authority and purpose of Halacha, not as legalism, but as the concrete expression of faithfulness to the covenant. Yesod HaBrit establishes the theological and conceptual framework upon which all further study—Mussar, Avodah, and practical Halachic living—is built. Taught by Rabbi Mordecai Griffin
Torat HaMiddot (“The Torah of Character”) is a six-week course dedicated to the cultivation and refinement of character as demanded by the covenant. Drawing from the classical Mussar tradition, this course examines the inner traits (middot) that shape a person’s actions, relationships, and spiritual integrity. Students will explore how humility, discipline, patience, integrity, and responsibility are not optional virtues, but Torah-mandated qualities that prepare a person to live faithfully within the Jewish covenant. Torat HaMiddot bridges belief and practice, forming the inner moral architecture necessary for authentic Halachic observance and mature Jewish life. Taught by Zaken Yigal Brenner

Avodat HaMitzvot:
The service of the commandments
Avodat HaMitzvot (“The Service of the Commandments”) is the final six-week course devoted to the concrete practice of mitzvot as the lived expression of covenantal faithfulness. This course focuses on specific and practical areas of Halacha, guiding students through the daily, weekly, and seasonal commandments that structure Jewish life. Emphasis is placed on how mitzvot are performed, the Halachic principles that govern them, and the discipline required to integrate them consistently into one’s life. Avodat HaMitzvot establishes that true service of God is realized through action—through faithful obedience to the commandments—forming a stable, embodied, and enduring Torah life rooted in covenant rather than sentiment or abstraction. Taught by Zaken Rayford Hopson
