Prayer to Sweeten the Judgement
The Shomer Emunim writes the following: “If one says this prayer, all harsh judgments are sweetened, and all is transformed for the good. Travials will be an atonement for sins. There is no limit to the pleasure HaShem receives from this, for it is the way of heaven to test a person in his faith, and if we strengthen our faith even in a difficult situation, the judgement is sweetened.
